Bat
Masterson era um lendário homem da lei do século XIX,
que usava roupas finas, bengala, chapéu e uma típica gravata
sulista. Era um talentoso jogador de pôquer e um perfeito cavalheiro
com as mulheres. Devido a tais atributos era sempre visto com maus olhos
pelos pistoleiros e arruaceiros da região, que faziam pouco caso
de seu estilo "almofadinha". O que eles não sabiam
era que Bat Masterson era um grande pistoleiro, um lutador e tinha armas
secretas como uma espingarda disfarçada de bengala que o tirava
de situações de risco.
O ator
Gene Barry estrelou essa série de 1958 com grande sucesso, inclusive
no Brasil. Gene Barry também interpretou na TV o papel principal do seriado Inspetor Burke (Burke`s Law), também exibido pela Record.
